Beautiful Feet

“How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of him who brings good news,

Who proclaims peace,

Who brings glad tidings of good things,

Who proclaims salvation,

Who says to Zion,

‘Your God reigns!’”

—Isaiah 52:7

There are many things that I love about My Olive Tree, but the one thing that I love the most is that it is literally fulfilling Bible prophecy. We are honored, humbled, and passionate about being involved in a work that is part of a physical manifestation of prophecy spoken forth thousands of years ago by many of Israel’s great prophets.

So many times I think that we look at prophetic words as something spoken—something that will take place or be fulfilled in the future. And this is true, but prophets are also men and women who hear from God and speak the divine inspiration of His Word—that is, they are not just fore-tellers of future events.

Prophets speak God’s heart.

Merriam Webster defines a prophet as: One who utters divine revelation; one who foretells future events; an effective or leading spokesman for a cause; or one who is gifted with more than ordinary spiritual and moral insight.

My Olive Tree is not only part of the fulfillment of a prophetic word (Amos 9:14), but it is also a prophetic act—a physical work that is speaking God’s heart for Israel now, and His heart for her future restoration as promised or prophesied long ago.

Each My Olive Tree sponsorship is a statement to Israel that she belongs in her land and that God’s promises to her are true, and therefore My Olive Tree is an effective and leading “spokesman” for an awesome cause. Which means that when individuals like you and I sponsor a tree or grapevine we become a spokesmen for “God’s cause”—for Israel.

We become part of the voice.

Merriam Webster says that a prophet is “…gifted with more than ordinary spiritual or moral insight.”  More than ordinary would imply that we are all gifted with a certain amount of spiritual insight and therefore we can participate with God’s Word being spoken and fulfilled. You may or may not be a prophet, but through My Olive Tree you are a part of a prophetic act.

Isaiah 52 speaks of the beauty of the feet of him who brings good news, proclaims peace, brings glad tidings, who proclaims salvation, and who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Therefore, if you have sponsored a tree or a grapevine with My Olive Tree, we say to you: “How beautiful are your feet!”

My Olive Tree provides a unique opportunity for each of us to bring the good news, and to proclaim peace. You may not be a prophet, or a pastor, or even have the chance to go to Israel, but through projects like My Olive Tree you can proclaim peace and salvation, and you can say to Zion: Your God reigns… OUR God reigns!

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a partnership between the Evangelical community and the nation of Israel; this partnership will produce employment, income, and revenue for humanitarian aid projects in Israel. We envision the planting of one-million olive trees over the next seven years. This relationship was prophesied in the Bible centuries ago, that the foreigners and strangers (those not of Jewish descent) would help rebuild the walls of Israel and cause the desert to bloom (Isa 35:1). Among other things, this reforestation is an environmental blessing for the entire region. May all who participate in this project be blessed body, soul and spirit; it is time for you to take root in Israel!
