Believers Join to Help Holocaust Survivors

Believers across the world have united to reach out and assist Holocaust survivors in recent years. As these survivors age, they face many trials: poverty, medical issues, lack of food, as well as continued emotional heartache. They remember their difficult past while still faced with an impoverished future.

There is a call to Believers to comfort those weak in spirit…

“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”—Acts 20:35

Supporting destitute Holocaust survivors does have a sense of urgency. While many have shown support in the past, there are unfortunately still some who ignore the plight of these survivors today. Every day a Holocaust survivor dies, but we have an opportunity to remember and honor these lives now.

Why to join the effort?

“I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.”—Amos 9:14-15

“For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.”—Romans 11:25

God desires for YOU to be a part of rebuilding Israel’s physical and spiritual restoration…

In Jewish culture trees have a rich history and significance.

Olive trees are mentioned all throughout scripture. They are used symbolically as peace, prosperity, beauty and the relationship between God and His people.

“But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I will trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.”—Psalm 52:8

“For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?”—Romans 11:24

Consider today how your gift can impact a nation, a soul and leave a lasting legacy for generations.
