A Celebration of Life: Plant a Tree

Planting trees have been a custom in many cultures for centuries. In the Jewish tradition, trees represent life and are a reminder of how God flourishes His good Earth. In fact, God covered the Earth with plants and trees before He created any other living creatures. This symbolizes a tree’s life-giving character. In the middle of the Garden of Eden stood the tree of life, signifying God’s intention to give life to His people. How can we celebrate the life God gives by planting a tree?

In Loving Memory

Losing a loved one is never easy. It can be heart-wrenching to think about the cherished memories. So much of the time, when we mourn, we think about what is no longer. However, we can remember God’s amazing gift of life and transform our mourning into something that will last for years to come.

At My Olive Tree, we are partnering with people just like you to plant a tree in memory of a loved one—a tree that will continue to grow and produce an abundance of life and beauty for generations to come.

Trees are a Display of Strength, Wisdom and Life!

“She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.”—Proverbs 3:18

God’s perfect imagery shows how trees proclaim strength, wisdom and life throughout Scripture. When a tree is planted in loving memory, it signifies these attributes in a practical and observable way. The focus can shift from death to a celebration of their life.
