Although Israel’s climate has the potential for providing incredible yields throughout the year, the dry and arid landscape does need tending. Left alone, a tree or plant has very little chance of surviving. Drip irrigation plays a huge part in sustaining the seven-year growing period that an Olive Tree requires in order to not just survive… but to thrive.

We would like to share that these God breathed words are literally coming to life before our very eyes, but the truth is that it takes an incredible amount of work to produce these olive groves. You may ask, “Well then, is this really the Lord directing our steps?” And we would reply, “Absolutely!” Throughout the history of the Bible, God asks people to partner with Him to see that the work He wishes accomplished is completed. Adam named all of creation, Noah built an ark, Moses led millions of people out of slavery… None of these things happened without human involvement.
What we at My Olive Tree are most proud of is that through this process we are able to provide jobs to Israeli citizens. Why is that important to us? Because we believe in more than just restoring the land, we desire to impact the lives of the people as well—in this way restoration can come full circle.
