OUR LEGACY FOR THE KING

These are truly remarkable times. The United States has declared its intent to move its Embassy to Israel’s capital city—Jerusalem!

While there may be hand-wringing and dissent over this recognition, this was the right thing to do. What is truly remarkable is that so many countries have failed to do likewise for Israel.

We need to be aware of the signs of the times. 1 Chronicles 12:32 speaks of the sons of Issachar “who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command.” We need to be like the sons of Issachar, understanding the times and knowing what we, as a nation and as a people, ought to do.

When Yeshua Messiah came to earth, He came right on time. Daniel wrote of the Messiah’s coming when he was given a specific timetable in the numbering of the weeks (see Dan. 9:24-27). Jesus chastised the Pharisees and the Sadducees for not being able to discern the signs of the times (see Matt. 16:3).

If they had harkened to the prophet Daniel, they would have known the time of Messiah’s arrival.

“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”—Daniel 9:24-27

It is time for us to realize that we are in the third day from the advent of Yeshua (Jesus), and the seventh day from Adam. Yeshua arrived according to Daniel’s prophecy and the people failed to discern the time of His arrival. That was the fourth day (four thousand years from Adam).

Moreover, dear friends, do not ignore this: with the Lord, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day.”—2 Peter 3:8 (CJB)

Just as the disciples watched Yeshua’s ascension… we also need to be paying attention for His return.

“And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, ‘Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.’”—Acts 1:10-11

The signs are in the heavens, the signs are here on earth, and the signs are written in our Bible.

Jerusalem is the apple of God’s eye (see Zechariah 2:8). It is the seat of government for Israel. It is the capital city David built. It is the eternal capital of Israel and the place to which The King will return!

“There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, He shall rule on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.”—Isaiah 9:7

“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.”—Luke 1:32

Just as an expectant friend looks with great anticipation to the exciting time of seeing a long awaited return of an old friend, and works to prepare the home for their coming, we also look with eager anticipation for the soon return of our KING. We look to prepare the way of our Lord and Savior and welcome His return!

This preparation involves many opportunities for us to also provide a practical blessing to the land of Israel and her people. We have been told about the dream of a bountiful and fruitful land. It is becoming so with olive trees and grapevines being planted on IDF bases in the Negev Desert. These trees provide additional income to young and struggling Israeli soldiers who are bravely protecting their homeland.

Many of us have participated in these efforts. But the dream of planting a million trees still has a long way to go. Each tree planted not only beautifies the land, but also provides opportunities for those who care for the trees.

Now, take a moment to imagine if you will… Jesus’ soon return to Jerusalem through the Kidron Valley! We are so excited in making beautiful preparation for the return of the King with the Kings Valley Seven Species Project!

Restoring the Seven Species of Israel according to Deuteronomy 8:7-8, bringing back these five trees and two grains in the Kidron Valley between the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives, and preparing the King’s Valley for the Return of the King is a most exciting opportunity. This is not just about fulfilling Bible prophecy, but it is about an opportunity to demonstrate God’s love and promise by saying to Jerusalem, “I will not forget you!”

When you purchase a tree, several trees, or one of the seven species in the Kings Valley Project, you are participating in a magnificent way to welcome the return of the King to the land of God’s heart!

For those who have joined us in the vision to see not only the ancient Kidron Valley, but the entire land of Israel blossom and flourish, our hearts overflow with gratitude for you in coming alongside with us in this labor of love. We cannot adequately express our deep heartfelt thanks.

More opportunities are still open in Phase 1 of this project, and the dream is still alive for you to consider purchasing more of these trees, grapevines and grains for the King’s Valley Project.

Our goal for Phase 1*
