Partnering for Peace

At My Olive Tree there are many opportunities to join with us to promote peace in a very troubled area of the globe. Much of Israel’s land is covered in deserts, and yet My Olive Tree has intentionally planted trees and vineyards there. Why? In order to facilitate God’s vision for the Holy Land. God has promises to restore the nation of Israel.

At My Olive Tree your generous heart-filled sponsorship goes towards many humanitarian, environmental and economical peace efforts.

My Olive Tree creates jobs for Israeli immigrants returning to their land. This is accomplished by planting trees and grapevines in the Holy Land. Trees and vines are prepared for planting, are watered, and then moved to location and cared for after planting. The jobs created during and after the planting improve Israel’s economy through plentiful and continual harvests. Not only are there economical impacts, but environmental, as well. The Negev Desert is being transformed to a place of abundance through the crops and healthy fertilization of the soil.

Another way your sponsorship promotes peace throughout Israel is through creating revenue for several humanitarian aid projects. Some of the projects include feeding and caring for underprivileged children. Your efforts also further peace and give hope to soldiers working along Israel’s dangerous and difficult borders.

God promised to take what was ruined and to repair and rebuild it: “I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old” (Amos 9:11).

Sometimes God works in completely new ways, letting the old die and doing a work of new creation. Other times God works to raise up ruins, and rebuild. Both are wonderful works of the Lord! And this is how the Lord is using My Olive Tree! The prophet Amos, through God’s inspiration makes a proclamation of peace and high hope, looking forward to a day of great prosperity and abundance in Israel.

When God releases blessing and restoration, the fruit comes from unexpected places.

Normally, grapevines do not grow well on mountaintops, high hills, or in deserts, but in the days of Israel’s restoration, Amos 9:13 states,  “…the mountains shall drip with sweet wine and all the hills shall flow with it.”

We invite you to be a part of this divine partnership of peace. We encourage you to go to God in prayer and ask where and how He wants you to serve. Partnering with the Lord and My Olive Tree will bring peace and restoration to a broken and barren place. God promises to bless those who bless Israel. We are privileged and honored to be used by a Mighty God, and to be a Mighty Servant to His people.
