Sowing Seed: Principles and Benefits

Are you waiting on God for direction before you begin to sow seeds? Perhaps God has a place for you to start sowing, and He is waiting on you to take that first step of faith.

We can sow seeds into many causes and ministries. Using Godly wisdom when sowing will insure that you are in alignment with God’s will. As you approach Him for His wisdom and revelation, ask God if your act is of faith to further His Kingdom, or is sowing seeds into man’s will.

When you sow seeds into furthering the Kingdom of God, particularly the restoration of His people, you will find:

The principle of reaping what you sow has held true since the beginning of time.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”—Galatians 6:7

We cannot be surprised, when sowing into man’s will, that we reap disappointment and discord. This is why, at My Olive Tree, we prayerfully consider all aspects of every project that we partner in to ensure that we are following God’s lead and His plan of restoration.

The return of the Messiah can bring fear for some, but to those who understand God’s plan to permanently restore all that once was… it brings hope. We want to share this hope with the people of Israel, encouraging them to know that the God of their ancestors promises to revive and renew them in their land.

“Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.”—Deuteronomy 30:5

Prophecy comes with a promise of rescue and reestablishment for the Promised Land.

“Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; the city shall be built upon its own mound, and the palace shall remain according to its own plan.”—Jeremiah 30:18

As you consider how and where you want to sow seeds of faith, think about these blessings…

These are just a few of the ways your support can impact an entire nation for generations to come—in a way that truly matters.
