The Power of Investing: How Your Dollar Goes Further When You Invest

“…And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” —Acts 20:35

When you give to a cause near and dear to your heart, do you ever think about what happens to those dollars?

Most people who give, walk away feeling positive and generous, not overly contemplating the details of how their dollar will impact lives.

This process of giving tends to change, however, when we believe that the cause changes lives both now and for future generations. It changes, when we believe in the movement. We then become investors.

When we come together as investing Believers—under God’s will and purpose—imagine the impact on the world!

There is still work to be done. The early apostles spoke a lot about perseverance—we are to be encouraged in our steadfastness, so that we can be partakers of the inheritance. This act of perseverance changes and equips future generations.

“…strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” —Colossians 1:11-12

God employs the Body of Christ—the Church—to fulfill His missions. And when we come together, we can take on world-changing tasks for Him.

No matter how much or how little we can contribute, the cause is what’s important. We give what we can, because while there’s no price to belonging to God’s Kingdom, we reap what we sow.

So, when you give to God, you want your dollar to go as far as possible.

Are You Donating or Investing?

Many organizations ask for donations to help them complete projects. Your church might ask for donations to help someone in need. Your generosity does not go unnoticed, by those you help and by God.

But what if you could take the blessings the Lord has given you, and help His dollar go further? What if you could put your money to work for you—and for God’s purpose?

Welcome to the power of investing.

A donation is like a transaction—it’s a once and done deal. Investment is more like an extended form of a gift. Becoming an investor is a type of relationship—a partnership. It is a commitment built on trust.

With an investment comes a long-term goal. You invest knowing there will be growth, and therefore, a bigger return.

When we pool our resources as partners who invest, we can accomplish a significant task—we fulfill a collective vision and mission.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” —Matthew 18:20

And that’s exactly what we can expect of our investment in My Olive Tree.

God uses My Olive Tree as an investment opportunity for His land. We’ve brought together people and churches from all over the world to help restore the Holy Land. We didn’t plant and sustain over 20,000 trees merely because our partners gave them to us, but because our partners invested with us.

And we plan to reach our goal of 1,000,000 with the help of more investors.

My Olive Tree believes our mission is aligned with God’s will and purpose, for both Israel and the United States.

We are inviting you to invest with us directly—to be a part of the bigger picture, and to leave a legacy that lasts. When you sponsor an olive tree with us, you’re not just putting your money into good hands, you’re sowing into the real ground that fulfills prophecy.

We talk a lot about the physical land of Israel. Throughout the Bible, the land is referred to as holy, promised, good, fertile, and flowing with milk and honey. If God says it is, then it shall be!

If we were to ask you to donate an olive tree in Israel, it would only be to give someone a job, for now, simply to plant the tree.

But by inviting you to sponsor with us, your olive tree will provide immediately for people who are going to plant them, as well as for future generations who will care for them and harvest them. The next generations are those who develop the land in the future.

A Legacy Built on Trust

My Olive Tree has been partnering directly with Israel for decades. When Benjamin Netanyahu was the finance minister, he met with us to discuss the future of Israel.

Mr. Netanyahu was incredibly grateful for the humanitarian aid projects that had brought more than $20 million to his country…but he envisioned a future where Israel would be self-sufficient.

Instead of being a nation dependent upon the aid of others, he hoped Israel would become a nation able to give to others in need.

“The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand…” —Deuteronomy 28:12

Today, Israel’s economy is booming, and they’ve gone from being dependent to dependable.

Many developing nations look to Israel as a model for successful and sustainable development, while countries like the United States rely on Israel for state-of-the-art military technology to help keep their soldiers safe. Israel is a water-surplus nation that can feed itself—and others—while living in a harsh desert.

And this is only the beginning.

The Future: Restoration

There’s no way to know the details of Israel’s future…but given our progress, it looks brighter than ever. We are one step closer to restoring the desert, and to the return of Christ, than we realize. And that is ultimately where and when the investment pays off.

We want to be ready to receive Christ in the best way we can. By investing in the restoration of Israel—the land He chose for His people, and to which He is said to return—we can only expect good things in return.

Join with us as we stand with Israel—working to fulfill prophecy and restore the desert. Find out more with our FREE investment guide!
