Candles and victory . . . .

story of the Maccabees at Hanukkah

The story of the Maccabees at Hanukkah challenges us in many ways. This story challenges us to fight for freedom, fight for our culture, and fight for the best that God has for us.

Do you ever feel that your culture is being invaded?

Do you ever feel like the world around you is spinning out of control?

We can only imagine that the Jewish people who lived in the 2nd century BCE under the Syrian-Greek rule felt the same.

Just imagine how the Jewish fighters felt when they found the temple defiled and in complete disarray.

It would be similar to how you would feel if you walked into your sanctuary only to find that it had been torn apart and a become a place that housed abominable acts. Your heart would break and probably fill with righteous indignation.

Hanukkah, the Feast of Dedication, is a reminder that no matter how dark the season may be there is always light “at the end of the tunnel” and there are always miracles to encourage us to keep pressing on.

We cannot give up on our churches, our country, or our families. No matter how dark it seems there is hope in the promises of God EVEN if they have not manifest yet.

We also cannot give up on “our own temple.” 1 Corinthians 6:19 reminds us that “our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.” But sometimes we let things get out of control and let our minds wander, our health fall in ill repair, our hearts suffer in darkness, our souls remain downtrodden…

During this season we are reminded that it takes dedication to keep our temples in order. Spiritual dedication. Physical dedication.

This year with My Olive Tree we are sponsoring olive trees in Israel for her Jubilee Hanukkah and with every sponsorship we are saying that we not only believe in the promises of God pertaining to Israel but also to the promises of God pertaining to us and His dedication towards us.

That lost loved one—yes. We are claiming their heart.

That sickness—yes. We are claiming victory.

Our lost country—yes. We are claiming that there are good days in store and an awakening that will shift us.

We have not lost hope and we will not loose hope.

We are bruised but we are not broken and this holiday season we are planting for the release of 8 blessings for us, for our families, and for Israel.

We are claiming the lost, healing, and Jubilee restoration!

WE BELIEVE!

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a partnership between the Evangelical community and the nation of Israel; this partnership will produce employment, income, and revenue for humanitarian aid projects in Israel. We envision the planting of one-million olive trees over the next seven years. This relationship was prophesied in the Bible centuries ago, that the foreigners and strangers (those not of Jewish descent) would help rebuild the walls of Israel and cause the desert to bloom (Isa 35:1). Among other things, this reforestation is an environmental blessing for the entire region. May all who participate in this project be blessed body, soul and spirit; it is time for you to take root in Israel!
