10 to 15-Year-Old Olive Tree planted in Israel

January 1, 2014 by

When you sponsor a 10 to 15-year-old olive tree that is planted in the King’s Valley in Israel, you are…

Taking an Active Role in Prophetic Fulfillment

  • It allows you to tell others about your beliefs and God’s faithful promises.
  • It allows you to connect with Holy Land in a tangible way.
  • It allows you to put your prayers into action and look forward to ushering in the coming King (Psalm 122:6-7, Zechariah 2:10-33).

Making Your Political Voice Heard

  • It allows you to take a physical stand with Israel, politically and militarily.
  • It allows you to tell others about your political views and show how you back them.
  • It allows you to honor a loved one whose life you respected because of their devotion to their nation.

Ensuring Economic Growth and Stability

  • It allows you to influence the current and future economic culture within the City of Jerusalem.
  • It allows you to have peace of mind that you are sowing seeds into an economically sound nation.
  • It allows you to provide jobs that will help the nation of Israel grow, thus improving our nation’s political and economic security.

Commemorating an Important Event in Your Life

  • It allows you to attach your event and family to the Holy Land.
  • It allows you to mark memorable moments beyond a simple photograph.
  • It allows your event to bless others for generations to come.

Creating a Lasting Way to Remember a Loved One

  • It allows you to give your loved one physical roots in the Holy Land.
  • It allows you to feel comforted knowing others will be blessed by your loved one.
  • It allows you to pass on the legacy of your loved one.

Honoring a Holocaust Survivor

  • It allows you to impact a life that has endured unimaginable trauma.
  • It allows you to take a stand for justice in this world.
  • It allows you to give God’s chosen the lasting gift of legacy.

Are you ready to make a difference and leave a lasting legacy in the Holy Land? Don’t wait for an opportunity to get involved in God’s plan of land restoration. We are truly seeing the seeds of our sponsors multiplied physically and spiritually as they bless Israel—just as God promises (Genesis 12:3).

What Does It Mean to Sponsor an Olive Tree or Grapevine?

It means you are sponsoring a tree or grapevine in the Holy Land soil so that your cause, your voice, and your beliefs are physically tied to Israel. As a result, Israel is blessed and reaps a harvest year after year through the tree or grapevine you chose to sponsor. And you can hold on to the promises of Genesis 12:3: “I will bless those who bless you…”

The King’s Oil | Healing and Anointing Oil

May 5, 2014 by

The King’s Oil has long been used as a tool to release the power of God for healing and anointing.

This specially formulated anointing oil is made from the finest ingredients mentioned in Exodus 30. The power of anointing with oil is written through the Bible.

“Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.”—James 5:14

It represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit which belongs to every Believer.

The oil is a physical representation of the anointing you have as kings and priests brought to life through the special instruction from Exodus 30. The fragrant aroma is a blend of cinnamon and sweet spices. It is used to draw your mind and heart to a place of remembrance of the Holy Spirit that guides you, Jesus who saved you, and the Heavenly Father who created you.

The oil used in this formula is harvested directly from the olive trees that we plant in the Holy Land.

The 0.5 fl. oz. bottle allows you to take this unique oil with you or stores nicely in a drawer or cabinet.

The King's Oil project has been co-sponsored by Perry Stone, Curt Landry, and Ron Phillips.

Book: Jerusalem Rising – The City of Peace Reawakens

September 3, 2021 by

Documented Proof of the Prophetic Promises of God Revealed

Thousands of years ago, the prophet Zechariah foretold that the once-revered city of Jerusalem would again shake off its dust and be revived in peace and security. He predicted it would not only become a center of thriving life and seat of international influence but also the place where God himself will return to dwell.

This stunning new photo-comparison book and follow-up to Israel Rising documents the long-awaited and ongoing restoration of a city “set in the center of the nations” (Ezekiel 5:5). From its famed walls and gates to the beloved Old City and the new city rising up around it, view some of the oldest photos of Jerusalem ever taken (starting in the 1840s) and see them re-created from the same perspective today―some for the first time ever.

Author Doug Hershey and adventure-travel photographer Edden Ram gained exclusive access to storied vantage points to reshoot the exact angles of these stunning and seldom-seen historical photos. The result is an awe-inspiring and groundbreaking collection that will captivate hearts and reveal the accuracy of the prophet's words. The book also features fascinating insights into Jerusalem's first photographers and firsthand accounts from pilgrims, locals, and would-be conquerors that capture the longing and desire for this treasured city, spanning almost 2,000 years.

Indeed, the reawakening of the City of Peace is at hand.

Dreidel | Olive Wood – Single Dreidel

December 8, 2020 by

The dreidel game has been played during the Hanukkah season in homes all over the world for generations. Dreidel, which means ‘to turn around’ in Hebrew, is a top with 4 sides.

Each side contains one of the following letters from the Hebrew alphabet: Nun, Shin, Hey, Gimmel (see pictures below).

The dreidel game is fun for the whole family, young and old alike.

How to Play the Dreidel Game…

  1. All players sit around a hard-surfaced playing area such as a table.
  2. Each player has 10-15 tokens or small objects such as chocolate gelt (candies in the shape of coins) to put in the center “pot.”
  3. Each player puts one token into the center pot to start.
  4. Players take turns spinning the dreidel once during their turn. Once the dreidel stops spinning, the side facing up gives the instruction for the player.

If the dreidel lands on…

Nun

The player does nothing. The player to the left spins.

Gimmel

The player takes the whole pot. Then each player, including the one who landed on gimmel, puts another token in the pot. The player to the left spins.

Hey

The player gets half of the tokens in the pot. If there is an odd number, the player takes one additional token. The player to the left spins.

Shin

The player puts another token in the pot. The player to the left spins.

Keep playing for as long as you like!

These individually handcrafted dreidel pieces are made from olivewood from olive trees in Israel.

The Qiesieh family, the artisans who make these beautifully handcrafted dreidels as a way to provide for themselves, own souvenir shops in both Bethlehem and Jerusalem. For many years they have made their living crafting olive wood items such as figurines and nativity scenes for tourists.

However, when the coronavirus hit in 2020, tourism stopped and so did sales in their shops.

The Qiesiehs barely had enough food to fill their stomachs, so they were forced to barter their beautiful olive wood for meat.

My Olive Tree heard about their plight and reached out to help. George and Elijah, the two Qiesieh brothers who own their souvenir shops and do all of the woodworking themselves, were thrilled when we asked them to create these unique, one-of-a-kind, olive wood dreidels, exclusively made for the My Olive Tree online store.

Your purchase of every dreidel helps the Qiesieh family in Israel overcome financial needs in this difficult time by providing the extra income necessary to put food on their table.

Thank you!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Bitan Family Grove

The Bitan Family’s Story

The Bitan family has three generations living on their farm. After buying the land and moving there in the 1940s, they planted beautiful, vibrant flowers that were primarily sold to vendors in Europe.

The BDS Dried Up Their Land

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which started in the early 2000s, cut off the Bitan’s trades with Europe. The flowers once grown on the beautiful family farm were banned. There was no market for their crops. The once-lush land stood desolate and dry.

They Were Almost Forced to Move

Some might be of the opinion that they should move and find another way to make a living. After all, they have witnessed balloon bombs landing near their home, and they are no strangers to the whistling sounds of rockets fired near their fields.

But it isn’t that easy. This is not merely a random piece of land. It is their heritage, a connection to their hope, and it is their home. The Bitan family has longed to see their native land of Israel thrive. And their farm was fulfilling that dream only a few years ago.

Did They Lose Hope?

The BDS could’ve caused them to be disheartened and lose hope. For a moment, their future looked as dry and desperate as the land that was right outside their family home. But they chose not to lose hope.

This family, nearly bankrupt and searching for a miracle, still held tight to the promises of God and the hope of the Messiah.

Mr. Bitan explained to My Olive Tree’s founder, Curt Landry, on a cool October morning that it had been his father’s dream to be a part of the prophecy that would harvest pure olive oil to be used in the coming Third Temple’s great menorah.

A Bigger Plan Was about to Unfold

When we met with them and heard their story, we couldn’t believe how God would orchestrate restoration from something that seemed nearly lost. But nothing is beyond the reach of God’s sovereign hand.

We didn’t know how God’s restorative plan would be revealed, but we had faith. So, we stepped out in it and took action.

We were reminded of this verse…

  • “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”—Jeremiah 32:27

When we stood on one of their open fields near the Gaza Strip, the wind blew, and dust filled the air. The smell of dirt was unmistakable, but we detected a faint fragrance as if the aroma of flowers and olive trees met in the desert.

Seeing God’s Favor

The next thing we knew, we were working with the Bitan’s to fill their once flowery field into an olive grove! People from all over the world have stepped up and sponsored trees, allowing the Bitan’s to keep their family farm and await a harvest.

Hope was being restored!

Can you imagine what it would be like to wait nearly a lifetime, and then finally see God unfold a part of your dreams right before your eyes?

Those trees have ripened and have produced a harvest of oil. Now you can be one of the first to receive the oil produced by these very trees, trees that are fulfilling prophecy.

Don’t wait, there are only 200 bottles! Be a part of this fulfillment today!

Kiddush Cup | Olive Wood

December 8, 2020 by

Kiddush means “sanctification” in Hebrew. So, you can use these beautifully handcrafted olive wood kiddush cups during the Sabbath blessing, holiday meals, or communion, declaring the holiness of the Lord and setting apart a time to remember Him.

“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’ In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’”—1 Corinthians 11:23-25 (emphasis added)

Fill it with wine or grape juice and use it during the Sabbath blessing, holiday meals, or communion.

The Qiesieh family, the artisans who make these beautifully handcrafted kiddush cups as a way to provide for themselves, own souvenir shops in both Bethlehem and Jerusalem. For many years they have made their living crafting olive wood items such as figurines and nativity scenes for tourists.
