At My Olive Tree we believe in the power of prayer, and we have been blessed to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem for many years. We have stood on the Word and declared to her peace and prosperity! We have prayed in our prayer closets and in Jerusalem itself.
We have taken the words of King David to heart:
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.”—Psalm 122:6
This is a very familiar passage that we are honored to carry out. Our founders, Curt and Christie Landry, are passionate about putting action to our words and doing something to turn our prayers into realities.
In a recent email to a friend, Curt said:
“Prophetically speaking the perception of the prophetic ministry worldwide needs to be expanded beyond simply prophetic words and moving into prophetic acts.”
At My Olive Tree we are honored to put our feet on the ground and our roots in the soil. We are honored to pray and to ACT.
Do you volunteer in your church?
According to a recent Barna Group study, 57% of church-goers have not volunteered in the last 12 months, and 28% have never volunteered.
I know that MANY of these people have prayed in the last 12 months, even if they haven’t been putting their faith to work through volunteering.
It is time for us to step outside the box and step outside the walls of our churches and do something good for Israel in the name of Yeshua, Jesus.
Jesus was active! He was a seed-sower. He was busy about His Father’s work, and I believe He would challenge us to do the same.
The expressions “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” and “hell is full of good meanings, but heaven is full of good works” may sound harsh, but they are true. Good intentions are only as good as the actions and effort behind them.
It is time to live the message God has imparted to us. It is time to pray and it is time to arise from our knees and put our feet on the ground. It is time to LIVE His love out loud.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a partnership between the Evangelical community and the nation of Israel; this partnership will produce employment, income, and revenue for humanitarian aid projects in Israel. We envision the planting of one-million olive trees over the next seven years. This relationship was prophesied in the Bible centuries ago, that the foreigners and strangers (those not of Jewish descent) would help rebuild the walls of Israel and cause the desert to bloom (Isa 35:1). Among other things, this reforestation is an environmental blessing for the entire region. May all who participate in this project be blessed body, soul and spirit; it is time for you to take root in Israel!
