Jewish Roots in America’s Foundation

When we look back in our history books, we find that our great nation was built upon faith and values. But from where did these values and morals originate? At My Olive Tree, we typically turn back the pages of the Bible to review history, however today we are turning back the pages of our American History books.

The United States’ Constitution reflects the nation’s Founding Father’s ideals.

“Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” is one of the most famous lines from the Declaration of Independence. Every one of us can identify with these undisputed rights as human beings. This sets up the very principles from which our laws and government would function through the Constitution.

What did our Founding Fathers say about the Jewish Nation?

There are some eye-catching points made in these statements. It is remarkable that throughout history, the United States Presidents have recognized the potential, hope and restoration of the Israeli nation.

What can we learn from history?

If there is a repetition of statements and themes over time and history, they must be noteworthy. Time and time again we see the benefit of supporting and standing with the nation of Israel through Jewish roots in America.

It is undeniable that as humans, as Americans, we identify with struggles, growth and hope portrayed in the lives of the Jewish people. It does not take much time in the history books to see the resemblance of how our fight as an independent nation mirrors the Jewish nation returning to their homeland.

At My Olive Tree, we understand the political, economic, and spiritual benefits of standing with Israel.
